“love begins in one hello…â€
May 6 (Tuesday), Kate and I watched When Love Begins.
I was a bit curious about the movie - Â why did Aga Muhlach teamed with Anne Curtis although with a great age difference?
We watched the movie – laughed to some lines and even got teary eyed over the breaking-up part and the scene where Boots (played Aga’s mom) is dying due to some cancer [scenes where mothers are concerned just melts my heart] – but it seems like the picture lacked something or I just did not absorb it ![]()
Ben Caballero (Aga) and Mitch Valmonte (Anne) started their affair in boracay – I sooo want to go there, the scenery is so nice. Ben is a lawyer dedicated to serve the people and the environment while Mitch is a posh, spoiled brat, working for his father firm. They somehow got attracted to each other even if they have no common ground and age difference.
Two people finding love amidst hurt, principles and pride – I think that was the “essence†of the film. The story is a bit “mababaw†in a sense but then, well, that’s that I guess. Ahehe. BTW, Anne’s sooo sexy in this movie

mood: stressed…
Lack of rest … fatigued; I went – with betchay and gino – to get my favorite cold starbucks coffee to ease my day. Lucky! I was given a slip to receive a free tall drink of my choice at any starbucks store; I just need to accomplish a survey! Yey! I think this is going to be a great day
ahehe!
Speaking of surprises, last week I did not expect the unexpected – not that it is really unexpected
ahehe! After months in Singapore, a lovely, very lovely, exquisite, charming, attractive, divine young lady came home and surprised us all, ahehe! I was really glad and so delighted to see you again BRAMBLE! April 29th, in Music 21 , myrel played the accomplice. Ahehe. She dragged us to the karaoke bar because she said she has something to tell us – anthony, gelo, joven and I. When we entered the room, bramble and patrick was there – I was in shock and said nothing; just a quick ‘hello’ and then I sat down, dumbfounded… ahaha! Waaahh! Bramble’s back! Ahehe! HAPPY! We sang and sang, had a great time.
Bramble a.k.a Lizeth was here for a week – she’s back to SG at this moment. Hope she made out the most of her stay here. Amishu already :-* Thanks for the dark chocolates and pouch – sooo cute!
Maligayang Kaarawan muli Glenn! Ahehe :-*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLENN!
Sorry I was not able to join you guys – marco, mark, mitch - last Saturday/Sunday. Hope you all had fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNN!
So many deadlines to beat, so little time… wahaha!
I want to go out, have a couple of beers, talk nonsense … laugh! Drink a lot of coffee… see a movie or perhaps mall-ing … pig-out!
I want to go to the beach! Have some sun! waaahhh!
But I’m here stuck at the office, strapped with my keyboard… wahaha!
Oh well… kelangan kumita ng pera…

with panda eyes…
iced tall café mocha and bagel to start the day…
I did not get much sleep last night. Perhaps I’ve been thinking about my code too much – I need to pass it today! Waaahhh! To pass the time, to my daze, I finished Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Cuelho – at last! Finished! After months that I have it stocked. It was a good read; well I thought the opposite when I first attempted to read it. Never thought the story will end up that way… I’m not fond of reading books/novels actually, but I want to start… well, it was not quite bad as I thought it would
Back to Veronika Decides to Die, well it’s a story about a young woman named Veronica – 24 years old, green eyes and brown hair – in search of who she was, love, acceptance, insanity, the meaning to live and the meaning of life. She decided to end her life because she wants to escape from the routine that she’s been living – everything is the same.
I think if Veronika is in my position, she’ll definitely resort to suicide
wahaha!
For the past two years (well, almost two years), apartment – office – apartment – office is my life. I’m just thankful that my friends would ask me out once in a while. Ahaha! I’m not thinking of killing my self for the reason that everything in my life is the same. In October this year, I’ll be the same age as Veronica, I hope I could discover more that is to life – was that a line from a song? Ahaha!
“Come on, let’s go. Crazy people do crazy things.â€
**Books to recommend?
Watched iron man last night with nic (housemate).
“the truth is… I am Iron Manâ€
  -tony stark
wahaha! I so love this line.
I’m not really familiar with the actor who played Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) either with Iron Man
**Although I know he is a super hero
** But I loved the character’s coolness, courage, arrogance – in a good way and ingenuity; minus the beard
I love the suite! The armour is way too cool and realistic fly scene.
I was suppose to watch When Love Begins with mark, mitch and ging last Friday, but was cancelled because I was super late that night.
So we just grabbed dinner at Gerry’s and coffee afterwards. I met christian, ging’s bf.
I had a nice weekend, none the less, eventhough I did not go home to San Pablo. I’ll be meeting inay this lunch.

The memo reads…
“This is a note for all personnel in the Philippines.
The President of the Philippines has issued Proclamation No. 1463 declaring May 1, 2008, Thursday, as a Regular Holiday throughout the country in observance of Labor Day”
Searched the phrase may 1 labor day ; Wikipedia has the following definition:
May Day occurs on May 1 and refers to any of several public holidays in many countries.May Day is synonymous with International Workers’ Day, or Labour Day, which celebrates the social and economic achievements of the labor movement. As a day of celebration, however, the holiday has ancient origins and can relate to many customs that have survived into modern times. Many of these customs are due to May Day being a cross-quarter day, meaning that it falls approximately halfway between a solstice and an equinox.
When we were little, May 1 rain = “miracle” rain. It was said that May 1st’s rain could cure illnesses and such and could even bring good luck. So whenever there’s a downpour on May 1, my siblings and I would bathe in the rain. I don’t know the reason behind this pamahiin/hearsay/belief, but I perceived May Day as such. I don’t even know where this “belief” originated. May 1, 2008 fell on Thursday; many thought that Labor Day will be moved on Friday since Friday will be a sandwich day. Well you can’t blame them to think this way since we’re used to “moving” the holidays to give way to long weekends. I’m not a party pooper or anything, don’t get me wrong, I do love long weekends since I could go to our province and spend more time with my family and more sleep for me
, and it’s just that, the frequent rescheduling of holidays, doesn’t bring the essence of the holiday; I mean, a holiday/celebration was set so that people could remember that “glorious” day. Holidays today, is just a holiday.
As for me, I got to spend my May Day in Trinoma with may roommates - she and kate. Glad to spend a day out of the office
ahehe.
Happy Labor Day to everyone
hope you enjoyed your day off
