Saying “I do”

Last February 21, 2009, Saturday 3pm at Sta. Rita Church in Philam Homes Q.C. Anj and Ricky exchanged vows… in sickness and in health… till death do as part…

That was the second time that I was invited in a wedding ceremony and it was like you’ll feel blessed and blissful. When the church door flew open, the choral sang the entourage song then Anj began to walk the isle to where Ricky was waiting. It was beautiful site, rose petals falling, teary-eyed relatives, the groom smiling while waiting for her bride. 

I wish to be wed in the near future :-P

**sigh… buong mundo nagpapakasal na, [it seems that everyone's getting married]  except me *sigh*… May 3rd will be Mateng’s and my cousin’s getting hitched on the 8th.

These lines… we often connote these phrases whenever we are asked to define beauty. We perceive beauty differently as the lines suggest. A friend told me that Boy Abunda “cried” during a T.V. program. As clueless and curious as I was [that’s for not watching T.V.], I googled it and came across pep.ph. We [my friend and I] talked about it through IM. We exchanged views and well, had a couple of laughs :-P

I know what Vicky Belo comically said hurt Boy’s feelings and was surprised that he reacted that way; I mean knowing that he is an intelligent person and a rational thinker in that sense, his reaction towards the remark - which was a joke; is rather an over reaction. He could have talked to Vicky first after hearing about her answer from the interview since she is his very good friend – he must have her cellphone number right? We know he’s not as gorgeous as Piolo or Dingdong but the Calayans must have seen something in Boy that is striking that’s why he [Boy] became an endorser of Calayan Group.

We all have insecurities and not all people may find us appealing. Though Vicky’s comment was also below the belt – but come to think of it, it is a way of “advertising”; Calayan and Belo are competitors in their field :-P; she could have said that because she knew that Boy is his friend and that he could understand that she doesn’t mean to hurt anybody. She just made an analogy to market her product :-P

We just hope that Vicky and Boy could resolve the issue on their own. To loose a friend because of an obtuse intrigue like this silly.

You visited my dream last night. And it brought a feeling that has been sleeping ages ago. I want to see you, talk to you but I chose not to. If you want to talk, you could have called or texted, but neither, nothing, no effort from your side. Even snail mails nor e-mails. Nothing. I remembered then that we used to write to each other.  Pieces of paper from our notebooks, passing notes, doodling. “I miss you” messages even though you’re just seated beside me. I still have them. Funny. Sweet. I felt then that I was in love with you, even though I don’t want to admit it. We were young then, naïve. Truthfully, I was not sure if what I was feeling then was real and yours towards me as well. I’ve made decisions and actions that brought hurt to you and I am sorry. But then you still understood and told me I was just confused. I felt weak then and guilty. How am I supposed to face you? How come you are willing to accept me despite the things that I have done? I don’t regret the things that had happened, because that experiences had made me who I am right now. And you know; you are one of those that mold me to what I am. And I thank you for that. You were my lover, my best friend, a brother, a father. And I’m glad to have had you in my life.  And as I write this entry, I think of you and it made me smile. I don’t know where our relationship will take us but I’m hoping it will lead towards happiness.

it’s THAT time of the year again… roses, chocolates, balloons, hearts, cupids, love songs will be the “in” thing this month.

February has always been tagged as the love month. It’s like the season when you show you are affectionate to someone by doing something special like giving him/her homemade chocolates or cookies  [or something bought :-P does not matter :-D as long as it’s sweet ;-)] or some blossoms to awe them :-P

The love month… the moment to spread your love :-P

hmmm… I can smell the love… love is in the air… and I don’t care :-P wahaha! Bitter? Not really :-P or maybe a little :-P wahaha! [little lang naman!] Just being honest [?]

a little something something: some things that I like and dislike about this lovey-dovey day that is called VALENTINE’S…

LIKES
1.       Maraming couple [mapa-boy+boy or girl+girl or girl+boy] ang nagkalat/naglipana kung saan-saan; different ages and nakakatuwa silang tingnan… nakakakilig [minsan :-P]
2.      Lahat na ata ng chocolate makikita mo sa grocery or sa kung saan mang bilihan. Tempting bumili… Tsarap! [anntutay <-- sweet tooth]
3.      Daming roses sa daan! Makulay! :-) magandang pagmasdan.
4.      Lahat ng RED na bagay naglipana… wala lang… cool lang :-P
5.      May mga kung anu-anong promo sa mga restaurants kapag panahon ng Valentines.

DISLIKES
1.       Wala akong jowa kaya wala akong ka-chorva. Kakainggit lang ang mga couple na naglipana. Kairita! Sorry, bitter-bitter-an ang lola mo :-P
2.       Napapagastos ako sa chocolates, dagdag pa sa timbang! Paano na ang diet?! Sira na naman! [damn!]
3.       Madami ngang roses, pathetic naman kung bibili ako para sa sarili ko; wahaha! Wawa naman walang bulaklak :-P
4.       Wala lang… eh ano kung madaming red; pink or green ang fave kong color :-P wahaha!
5.       Puno lagi ang mga resto/kainan kase madaming nagdadate! Wala akong mapwestuhan!

Wahaha! Pangulit lang :-P I can’t think of anything more to add to my list :-P i’m not saying that I hate this season and I’m not so into it either :-P it’s nice that all these stuff are happening during a certain time of the year but isn’t  it more wonderful that all these love themed thingys are observed throughout the year :-D I’m not saying this because I haven’t met my Valentine… yet :-P but when I do, I’ll have Valentines with him every day :-D yikee! Baduy ni anntuts! Ahehe!

To all the single ladies out there, here’s a question for us, “Are feeling any pressure right now?” :-P APIR!

Down pour of chocolates! Wahaha! Super happy! Thanks to all the ORA boys [Gino, Barry, Ralph and Than (and a half)], Tami and to the Events Committee of our project :-D

We had a Valentine event during lunch time at our project area and it was hilarious!

Kate was my pre-valentine date :-P I was suppose to have a facial [my valentine gift for myself] but then I was not able to make the cut-off hour of the clinic… super sad… my mood changed when we had bigoli for dinner and mocha ice blended drink from CBTL :-P we also watched a movie – when I met you. And to be honest, I did not enjoy movie :-P though the sites from Coron, Palawan was super nice, can’t wait for March4*!

January 30 [Friday]: Barry and Migs’ PAINOM

Barry and Migs hosted a inuman [drinking] session at the penthouse of our office building :-P it was Barry’s Birthday on the 31st and Migs will be leaving our project. it was a fun night, chatting and making kulitan with your officemates. Koi [Barry's girlfriend] surprised him with a cake on the eve of his birthday, it was sooo sweet.  

February 06 [Friday]: Tea time with Kate

I was late this morning [as if that’s new] for the nth time. Partly because my alarm did not  work or I did not hear it [I’m betting on the latter :-P] but something amazing happened – a magical wifi connection came upon us! Wahaha! It was great! Yey! Free internet connection! :-D whoever owns it, we [she and I] thank you very much! Happeee! Saves me a lot on my dial-up connection :-P ahehe :-D

Segway: Jo, so sorry, I always ditch you in swimming :-( had a lot of issues to fix today, so sorry… I’ll try to swim tomorrow. i’ll super try
