I’ve began my Sookie Stackhouse craze, though Twilight will remain 1st in my heart
Finished Dead Until Dark (first of the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris) this week and I did not stop searching for the second book – Living Dead in Dallas; and I got lucky [I don’t know if you’ll call that lucky] because I bought a Sookie Stackhouse Box set in National Bookstore Mega Mall [thanks Patching! Mwah!]. I had a hard time finding the Sookie Stackhouse book here; I’ve searched ebay.ph, Powerbooks and am just so happy to find one in National. It was their last stock and has some minor defects but I was uber pleased to find one
HBO’s TRUEBLOOD series is based from this Southern Vampire Novel Series. And from what I read in the first book, Sookie Stackhouse’s experiences is pretty amazing!

Dead Until Dark is about a young bar waitress named Sookie Stackhouse [pretty catchy huh?]. The setting is in Bon Temps, Louisiana. What makes Sookie interesting is that she has this ability to read minds – telepathic/psychic? And she was so happy to meet Bill, a vampire, because she couldn’t get through his mind; and that delighted her. Vampires no longer hide their identities and they could live freely amongst human which is pretty cool – though there’s still the coffin thing, stakes and silver stuff. There’s a lot of deaths, sex and other stuff in this novel that makes it kind of an adult category
it’s a fun read and I think you can finish it in one sitting, cause when you come across the thrilling parts, you can’t put the book down
it’s an open ending and I so want to start with my second book.
I find it pretty interesting that the heroine, Sookie, has the same ability as Edward plus Bella [Sookie can read minds and is not affected my Bill's powers]
and that Sam [Sookie's Boss] is a shape-shifter, hmmm, Jacob?
Its like a mature/adult version of Twilight, hehehe.

Happy Birthday Helen and Leah!
Well, my day is pretty slow but refreshing
a lot of things are bugging me lately and it was nice to go out, talk to a friend, read a book or just walk around…
Mikel (I’ll tag him as my movie buddy) watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button this afternoon. I’ve read the short story and it was nothing like the movie. The only similarity of the book and the film is that Benjamin ages backwards. Ahehe. About the movie, sometimes it bores me, but well, it was okay. hands down to the make-up artists and the effects people of the movie, I’ve seen Brad Pitt go old
and oh my he’s pretty damn gorgeous ![]()
I’ve received my Dead Until Dark book and it somehow made my day

Been busy these past weeks and now I have a lot of backtracking to do.

First things first - Breaking Dawn. Yep, I’ve finished reading it way before the premier of twilight the movie. The last installment of the Bella-Edward story was action packed, surprises and thousand of names to memorize, ahaha! Yep, a huge number of characters were introduced here, and well full of “magic†and twists. The last installment for the twilight series… I’ll be missing all the characters especially my Edward… I can’t believe it ended already… I miss you Edward! I’m so thrilled for Midnight Sun!

I was on night shift from the 17th of November ‘till the end of the said month. This did not stop me to watch Twilight on its first showing date here in the Philippines (though I was dying to watch the advance screening of the film, which was impossible with my schedule).
I practically dragged Mikel aka Ganda, to accompany me to Twilight, so after our shift, we watched for the trinoma mall to open – well, I cut the story short though, wahehe, I was late for our rendezvous :-P. we got the 11:something AM showing and then, Twilight! Ahehe, we even show a silver Volvo outside the theater
it made me feel Edward was there
ahaha! **Dreamy** I watched the movie twice, on the 26th and 28th
ahehe

I know a few who was, I’m quoting them, “disappointed†in the movie, well because of the obvious reason that the pattern/story in the book was not evident in the movie and that some “kilig†scenes were scrapped. Ahehe. Oh well, on my opinion, the movie was okay and I kinda liked it
I read the book too and well, I did not expect that it will be exactly like the book
how can you squeeze a 300+ page book in a 2 hr movie?
the movie was “okay†though I was not the giggle-ish compared when I was reading the book
and well, the lovey-dovey parts of Edward and Bella were a bit fast tracked
and that Bella’s lullaby was not highlighted as Bella’s lullaby, it was like Edward was just playing something on the piano
ahehe. Hurray for Robert Pattinson, because I did not expect that he’ll be able to pull Edward’s character
ahehe it was nice to see Edward and the rest of the Cullens smile a lot
I always picture them as super serious at all times
it was nice to see a lighter side of them. And the fight scene was way cool! Alice breaking James’ head! Awesome! Ahaha! Emmett was so Emmett, Rosalie was bitchy – I like, Alice is a cutie and Jasper was so in pain all the time! Ahaha! Funny! Carlisle’s pale look was super fake and well Esme was a dear
I did not expect Jacob to appear way way at the start of the film
I like James’ abs! wahehe!

Vampires are so hot! Ahaha
I like all of them! I enjoyed the movie
in my own not expecting so much way
I’ll just continue tomorrow for the rest of my overdue posts
miss yah all! :-*

The corner of my mouth turned up in a wistful half-smile. “I used to think of you that way, you know. Like the sun. My personal sun. You balanced out the clouds nicely for me.â€
He sighed. “The clouds I can handle. But I can’t fight with an eclipse.â€

In Eclipse, I was so hating Bella. Oh well, she was only human then, as Edward always pointed out, but well, I did not expect for her to do such thing… not to my Edward ![]()
It’s been a turning point for Edward-Bella-Jacob romance. A lot of action compared to the first two books
lots of characters are being introduced here, loads of information too – about vamps and werewolves. When will Bella be changing? Ahehe. When will Jacob find his better half? Will they have a happily ever after? Or a happily never after? ![]()
It’s raining outside and I thought of Forks
ahehe. My anticipation to Twilight movie is so, well, exagerrated – I guess
and I’m carving to the Twilight Movie Guide. Waaahhh! Please someone wrap it for me for Christmas
ahehe.

I had my medical checkup last Friday. It was “mandatory†though, but it was cool. I had to undergo x-ray and stuff plus the doctor who attended me was from LB too! B.S. Bio! Cool huh?
Whenever I meet someone from elbi, it just brightens my day
Speaking of “good moodâ€, my Edward never fails to amuse me
wahaha
Here I go again with my constant blabbing about Edward Cullen – my love :-*. My roomies are getting sick of my never ending talk about him
I just don’t know when this addiction will subside. I think I’m really attracted to anything vampire-ish – Buffy, Interview with the Vampire, Underworld
I’m so adoring Edward right now! Waaahh! Can’t stop! But somehow the image of Robert Pattinson keeps popping in my head, although I did not really imagine him as Edward. Although I admit, I like his smile
ahihi! Landi!

I’m in the middle of reading Eclipse and I can’t help but to get giggle-ish
it was like every mutter from Edward just melts my bones, even though sometimes it seemed hokey
ahehe. I think if the words came from the one you love, you just go awed by them. I’m having goose bumps again remembering his sweet mumblings.
“I’ll be back so soon you won’t have time to miss me. Look after my heart — I’ve left it with you.â€
The third book of Stephenie Meyer’s genius is way too exciting! Can’t wait to finish it!
@ann: Kwentuhan ulet! Ahaha!
Belated happy birthday to ras!
Happy birthday lyrs! October metal-mouth cuties! Waaahhh! Amishu :-*
Sigh.
I think my day is getting slow again… waaahhh!

“Not tonight. Tonight the sky was utterly black.
Perhaps there was no moon tonight—a lunar
eclipse, a new moon.
A new moon. I shivered, though I wasn’t cold.
It was black for a long time before I heard them
calling.â€
I’ve finished New Moon, second installment of the Twilight saga, yesterday! Got to have Eclipse!
In New Moon, I missed Edward so much. It’s a bit dragging though, the book, for me – perhaps because there’s not so much Edward there. It felt like it was just a filler episode for the series :-P. I feel for Bella and Edward, it hurts me that they have to separate (talagang dinamdam :-P). I feel for Jacob too. But the book gave me hints for my twilight-ending theory ;-), I’m just curious how will that happen though. Forever and commitment meant a lot in this particular book. I’ll just hope they’ll have a happy ending.
Whenever I think about Bella and Edward, Superhuman kept ringing in my head
ahehe a bit corny eh? Ahehe. But it think it’s appropriate for them
ahehe
I LOVE YOU EDWARD CULLEN!
