Yep! I’m officially selling items in ebay.ph! ahaha!

This is the first time that I’ll be doing the “selling” part. From my previous posts, I have purchased items online and it is nice to have a feel on the “seller” side :-D

This is my first online listings and I’m hoping for a positive response [fingers crossed]

Please do check out my items :-D

Dead Until Dark

I’ve began my Sookie Stackhouse craze, though Twilight will remain 1st in my heart ;-)

Finished Dead Until Dark (first of the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris) this week and I did not stop searching for the second book – Living Dead in Dallas; and I got lucky [I don’t know if you’ll call that lucky] because I bought a Sookie Stackhouse Box set in National Bookstore Mega Mall [thanks Patching! Mwah!]. I had a hard time finding the Sookie Stackhouse book here; I’ve searched ebay.ph, Powerbooks and am just so happy to find one in National. It was their last stock and has some minor defects but I was uber pleased to find one :-D HBO’s TRUEBLOOD series is based from this Southern Vampire Novel Series. And from what I read in the first book, Sookie Stackhouse’s experiences is pretty amazing!

Dead Until Dark is about a young bar waitress named Sookie Stackhouse [pretty catchy huh?]. The setting is in Bon Temps, Louisiana. What makes Sookie interesting is that she has this ability to read minds – telepathic/psychic? And she was so happy to meet Bill, a vampire, because she couldn’t get through his mind; and that delighted her. Vampires no longer hide their identities and they could live freely amongst human which is pretty cool – though there’s still the coffin thing, stakes and silver stuff. There’s a lot of deaths, sex and other stuff in this novel that makes it kind of an adult category :-P it’s a fun read and I think you can finish it in one sitting, cause when you come across the thrilling parts, you can’t put the book down :-P it’s an open ending and I so want to start with my second book.

I find it pretty interesting that the heroine, Sookie, has the same ability as Edward plus Bella [Sookie can read minds and is not affected my Bill's powers] :-P and that Sam [Sookie's Boss] is a shape-shifter, hmmm, Jacob? :-P Its like a mature/adult version of Twilight, hehehe.

My January 13th

Happy Birthday Helen and Leah!
Well, my day is pretty slow but refreshing :-) a lot of things are bugging me lately and it was nice to go out, talk to a friend, read a book or just walk around…
Mikel (I’ll tag him as my movie buddy) watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button this afternoon. I’ve read the short story and it was nothing like the movie. The only similarity of the book and the film is that Benjamin ages backwards. Ahehe. About the movie, sometimes it bores me, but well, it was okay. hands down to the make-up artists and the effects people of the movie, I’ve seen Brad Pitt go old :-P and oh my he’s pretty damn gorgeous ;-)
I’ve received my Dead Until Dark book and it somehow made my day :-)
